Went in knowing what I wanted and came simply to purchase… instead I’m treated very unprofessionally, the woman attending us would stop mid sentence to talk to another client, (this client was already being attended by another worker). I bought a ring last year and it tarnished — you can clearly see the discoloration. Since Swarovski offers a 2-year warranty, I went to the store to ask if they could clean my ring. They told me they couldn’t, and that I should use dish soap instead. I explained that the ring was actually tarnished and asked about the warranty, but the young male employee replied, “First of all, that’s not tarnish, it’s scratches.” I work in a jewelry store myself, so I know the difference and I could clearly see the discoloration. there's a reason the store is empty, and it's not bc they sell overpriced crystals i actually WANTED to buy the overpriced crystals until they kept staring me down the whole time i was there. i'd look up and they'd make eye contact but never asked me for help, and they got really mad when i SLIGHTLY moved a little figurine to look at it carefully. but then a white woman came in and it's "omg hiiii what can we help you with🥰"... and i literally never pull the poc card but they were black and treated me vastly differently, so... read more
