I asked them to shorten a skirt suit in 1996 (jacket & skirt), tried it on, they marked both the skirt and jacket. When I picked them up, only the skirt was shortened. I took the jacket back, which was still 4 inches too long and no longer marked, & the lady insisted that's how I told them to do it & I must have had a different top on under the jacket, which made it fit differently.
