Absolute disaster from start to finish. I spent tens of thousands for what turned out to be a half-finished, poorly built pool. They sub-contract everything to whoever’s available, so the quality is all over the place. The plaster started fading within a few months, the lights don’t work, and the so-called “warranty” is a joke. Every call for help is ignored. Once they have your money, they disappear. If you’re considering this company, RUN. You’ll end up spending double fixing their mess.
If you haven’t signed your contract with Swan Pools, RUN while you still can. I only wish I had seen the warning signs earlier. After reading other reviews, I’m horrified to realize I’m not alone. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one needs to be heard. James, the owner of Swan Pools, is an absolute scammer. He promised me a beautiful custom pool and smooth process. What I got instead was a giant dirt hole sitting in my backyard for months. They started digging, did a few random things, and then completely disappeared. No updates, no workers, no communication — just silence. I cant believe I got scammed with this company! Months now of being brushed off with them. Can't get anyone to answer me. They'll answer you id theyre getting money but the minute you need assistance. Vanished. Jame's promises of this amazing pool fell short. Its not even finished!!!! They installed the filter backwards. They make mistakes during installation and itll come out of your pocket. I hired this company to build my pool a little over a year ago, and the experience has been awful from beginning to end. The finish on the deck and the faux-rock surface began peeling and lifting not long after completion. I have contacted the company multiple times over the past several months. Each time I’m told someone will “look into it,” yet nothing ever happens. At one point, a technician came out, inspected the problem, and agreed that repairs were needed.
