I am so surprised and saddened to read negative reviews for such a wonderful office! Every single person I've dealt with over the years has been caring, thoughtful, and helpful Every time I have dealt with them. I just had surgery to have my gallbladder removed I had an upcoming appointment for an endoscopy I've been very sick with recovery so I wanted to push back my appointment. I called four times twice I was put on hold for 20 minutes and twice I was told I would get a return call I finally got to return call a day later only to be told the scheduler was too busy to return a 10 minute call. Now I have to look for a new GI. Poor Dr. Deeb, such a nice kind man to have is practice ruined by a bunch of incompetent phone operators.
Just wanted to thank the amazing folks at Swan Gastroenterology, especially Dr. Mezher, the new gal in training at the front desk, Ericka, Alyssa, Laura, and Jenn! I had an endoscopy this morning, and, thanks to these kind and very skilled people, it was hugely successful and without incident. I'm so blessed to have been in their exceptional care this morning. These people suck. If a doctor is texting you at 7:12 in the morning, before they are even open, they're just arrogant. I don't need to be woken up in the morning so they can remind me that they need their money. The office staff are jerks. In fact, at 7AM, if I'm sleeping, it's because I'm ill and need sleep. Not texts. I'm going somewhere else.
Negative stars because they DO HARM. No one should ever take a proton pump inhibitor. Carly Widup told me that the reason my esophagitis and acid reflux didn't heal was because I didn't stay on the pantoprazole long enough. (I had taken it twice before for a few months, but my difficulty breathing kept returning. I always stopped bc of feeling weird and concern about side effects.)
