RecommendedI'm from Chicago so I know a good steak and they have a good steak. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their food and there were ten of us. Got to taste some Gator which is something different for me. Swamphouse was on my bucket list. Two years ago we tried to get in but it was bike week. Long wait. So happy we were able to get here this time and likely be a regular stop when I'm here again. Atmosphere on St John's great! Did I mention our server was fantastic...fast and friendly.

Great atmosphere! The steak tacos were excellent. Don’t forget to try the “rum bucket”.
Great spot on the River. Good Gumbo and Grouper Sandwich Marina,Tiki Bar and snacks downstairs on the water.
The owner "ed" is the most unfriendly and unpersonable person i have ever met in the restaurant business. I live in the park where the swamp house is and eat and drink there 3 to 4 times a week and spend good money . Went in there this sunday asked to put the bills game on since they say they cover all games that's a lie anyway . So i approached him and asked if he could put it on and was told all tvs are spoken for. I told him i live here in the park and he told me have a good day
We Split the appetizer crabcakes, corn fritters, and steak tacos. All three were very good. The gentleman host seem to be in much of a hurry and just didn’t seem real happy. But our waitress was very friendly and did a great job. In the end she got very busy so the delay in getting our check was slight ,but I would be back if I lived in the area!

Very well cooked and exactly how we asked for it. All of our food came out hot and in a timely manner for a Saturday night! We love this place and everyone is always so nice. Oh the turtle cheese cake was amazing!
Great place to spend time with family and friends good food and drinks. The wife likes to watch the boats too.
