My car's air conditioner has been looked at for 2 summers by different mechanics. None ever found the problem. This summer, I took it to a mechanic in Poplar Bluff. They "repaired" ac charging me several hundred dollars. I wasn't surprised at cost. The following morning it blew hot air again. This time I took it to Swafford's. It did not cost as much and has been working great since.

took my car in for air conditioner they checked it for leaks schedule an appointment to get the leaks fixed ended up costing me $275 I was under the assumption because I said that's what I was going to cost to GET IT FIXED A TOTAL OF 2 DAYS NOW THEY'RE SAYING I NEED A CONDENSER AND THAT WILL COST 500 MORE DOLLARS THEY REPLACED THE HIGH PRESSURE LINE ON THE AIR CONDITIONER I FEEL LIKE THEY DID THE REPLACEMENT KNOWING THAT THE AIR CONDENSER WAS LEAKING and how I feel is that they just wanted the extra labor money the new repla... read more
Great people. Great service. Great price! I had to stop in Poplar Bluff because my windshield wipers quit working with all kinds of rain going on. The usual worry goes through my head of being taken advantage of as a woman out of town. I read great reviews for Swafford's and that's exactly what experience I had. They figured out it was minor little clip and Ford had one on the shelf.
