I started coming to swadee about 3 years ago and the food has changed on taste and texture. I don't know if they changed cooks, but it's now a hit or miss. I usually order the spring rolls, but now there a little mushy inside and the dumplings taste a little dry. The service is phenomenal and welcoming.

Walking in, I felt like I was in for a bad time. The place is kind of rough to say the least. Xmas stockings are still hung up, glass on the tables despite having decent table cloths. It’s really dark and the music selection is kind of awful. The service was average. The waiter kind of hawked us, but we were the only table so alright I suppose. Swadee is a lovely restaurant with delicious authentic Thai food. The restaurant is very cute with comfortable table seating plus a nice full bar with seating. We called in an order to go and tried their Drunken Noodles with Beef, a Green Curry with Chicken and a Mango Sticky Rice. They use fresh quality ingredients and all the food was excellent and delicious. The server seemed mad we were there. like how dare we want to have lunch at this open restaurant. a different person took our order, and was perfectly pleasant, but the main person we interacted with made the whole experience uncomfortable. I liked the food, and as a longtime vegetarian, i appreciated that they had plenty of clearly marked vegetarian options.
