Dr. Svoboda did his best to put me at ease with a couple random Dad jokes and quotes from the Barbie movie. It’s hard not to appreciate someone who can help find humor in any situation. He was patient, even though his office was behind schedule, and didn’t hurry me out the door. I appreciated that he didn’t want to just throw medication at me without first attempting to find the root of my symptoms. Wonderful Doctor! Very thorough...Unique in the way he can ease nervousness by talking to his patients and get the job at hand done. Then also making sure that you understand everything. Would not trade this one!
Do not recommend this doctor. You cannot get a word in edge-wise. He has his own opinion as to what your course of action should be. When I tried to explain the problems I had experienced in the past with my thyroid issues, he wouldn't even listen. My issues have to do with antipsychotic medication lowering my TSH, and some doctors cannot think outside the box. Dr. Svoboda actually had the gall to tell me "below normal levels of free T3 were fine." At the end of his lecture about "TSH", he was trying to figure out how much h... read more
