Wife admitted with GE symptoms. No tests. ER doctor said E Coli. Said anti-biotics inappropriate. Rec- ommended overnite. Hospital GE told of ER MDs remark. Didn't care. Prescribed anti-biotic. Other than blood work, no tests just guesses. Recommended another overnite. Took stool sample and released her with prescription for continuing anti-biotic. Got home, received troubled call from hospitalist MD. Results of stool sample analysis: Clostridium-difficile(look it up) " This is the hospital's responsibility." (direct quote) ... read more
i had an appointment set with 2 doctors for may 6,2010 . the office staff assumed my BCBS insurance would not pay so without calling to verify they canceled my time and gave it to someone else so i now have to take another day off from work and travel to Bennington . it seems to me that the office staff should check things out before they make decisions for other people . they do not know the situation or how much pain somebody might be in and i am sure that they wopyld not want it done to them i also feel that to give my ap... read more
