Had a severe fracture on my left leg from a high fall. Was rushed to the hospital and met Dr.Svabek, he quickly assessed the situation and scheduled surgery. I'm lucky to have had him as my surgeon, I'm making a full recovery thanks to him, very grateful. Thank you From my family and I.
Dr. Svabek was great in explaining what happened to my torn bicep tendon and why surgery was not needed. Him and his partner took time to consult with me and advise why the tear at the top was not really needing repair as it was not torn at elbow. So it looks like a Popeye muscle. He sent me to therapy and followed up on my progress. Very thorough and takes time to make sure everything is understood.
Google his medical record in Indiana. He should not be practicing medicine.
Met Dr. Svabek in the ER after my hip broke & decided to let him operate to fix the problem. It was the correct decision - my husband & family were amazed at how little pain I experienced after surgery! Tylenol was the only med I needed! Nurses seeing my incision remarked how good it looked - the hospital discharged me after 3 days & I went to a rehab for 2 weeks learning how to walk. My Mom had to have emergency surgery after breaking her T12 at the gym. It was a scary time for us all as she was in so so much pain and 77 years old. During our stay in the hospital Dr. Svabek laid out our options, which really were not many: Kyphoplasty surgery in 2 days or extreme pain for months and a back brace.
