Very questionable knowledge of Condo guidelines as set out by Provincial regulators. In particular Chris Mendes is unable or unwilling to respond to inquiries in a legitimate or honest manner. He skirts questions and in a typical legal manner never answers inquiries. Would suggest any one looking for professional and ethical representation try a different firm.
As the previous two post have indicated, SV Law credibility and ethics are called into question. They have a clear inability to answer a question clearly and go out of there way to avoid the question and to be unclear. Very much like a politician. The longer and unclear the answer the more they charge. Would suggest any interest interest in enlisting tgis firm move look elsewhere.
We strongly advise caution before hiring SV Law for any business sale, trust-related, or post-closing matters. Our experience with one of their current lawyers has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Despite all timelines expiring, no legal claims being filed, and the lawyer formally withdrawing from our matter, the firm has continued to withhold $20,000 in trust funds without any signed trust condition, joint direction, or court order. Very poor and unethical firm. There legal work is poor and out to get the mo ey and not a true or reasonable decision.
Nicola helped my husband and I figure out how to handle our wills for our blended family. She was extremely patient and made it very easy to finally get our affairs in order!
