Dr. Susan Freidler is excellent. She took great care of me and my whole family. I feel very comfortable with her to the extent that I have even invited certain friends to learn more about my family's "beauty secrets." Her personal assistants at both the Queens and New York office are great.
By far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She was in the room fewer than 2 minutes (really), cut off every sentence I began, rushed to prescribe medication without explaining to me what it is or the dosage, and said that we could do the full body scan "during the next appointment". She walked out without looking at my face or body. When I told the nurse I'd like the scan today, since my insurance only covers 1 appointment annually, I was told she had "left for the day" (2PM)
Avoid this doctor. She asked for $200 to spray liquid nitrogen on some spots and then billed my insurance company $250 for that procedure plus another $200 for the office visit. I feel taken advantage of and lied to by her. She said the procedures would not be covered by insurance and then she billed my insurance company and stuck it to me as well. She's only in it to make as much money as she can, that's pretty clear from spending one minute in her company..
The worst experience with a physician I've ever had, dermatology or otherwise. Spent less than five minutes in the room, never spoke directly to me or made eye contact, stated out loud to staff, "This is probably a melanoma", the deadliest skin cancer there is, so I had to suffer for a month pending results and turned out to be nothing of the kind. The whole place is gross on every level, even the waiting area was horribly uncomfortable and dirty. Run away from this place as fast as you can!!!

I do NOT Recommend Dr. Friedler. My almost 9 yr old son was the patient for a wart. He was having a difficult time and instead of attempting to calm him down, she asked in front of him," what is going on here, is he autistic or something?" Second, she told him that if he did not calm down that she would leave and treat other patients, ( Ok perhaps this was her version of tough love) Then, she kept telling him that he was 11. She never looked at the area/wart and treated a cut and scars.
Dr. Suzanne Friedler is a horrible doctor. Beware!!
This woman has the worst bedside manner, she is passive, insensitive and definitely could not care any less about patients.
She turned the intensity of the fraxel laser treatment to maximum claiming I would get better results. Months later, I'm left with hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, indents and permanent fat loss. Not to mention out of $1000
