I have been a patient of Dr Hughes for a few years now. Being older, I have had occasion to see many doctors for a variety of things and she is exceptional. Her medical skill is obvious and first rate but it is her focus, ability to interact easily and, I believe, her actual concern that set her apart. She is a real person who cares and that is as important as her expertise, but is by no means common among doctors.
After several appointments with Dr. Hughes, she then explained I could no longer be her patient because I "Would not get the Covid shot". Is this ethical? I thought Doctors were supposed to diagnose and treat illness not try to force their agenda (regardless of right/wrong) on patients. At the end of the visit she says "Good Luck". Wow, what a disappointment to this profession.
Dr. Hughes is the best PCP I've had in a long time. She takes the time to get to know you, which is rare these days. I would highly recommend.
More of a permission slip than a doctor. Every referral I've gotten has been unhelpful. Here's an example. I had an zoom appt scheduled for 1130 today. No one showed, called, nothing this has happened numerous times. Find a different person who's an actual m.d. please
