My mother lived here for 48 years until she died recently. When she first moved in, I was an NYU commuter student and lived with her for several years. She was very happy from the beginning until the end of her life because this is a wonderful, well built and well run building. From Tonin to the doormen to the porters and the handymen, the entire building staff is polite, friendly, helpful and professional. They will always do everything in their power to help you. Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone about Manhattan’s best kept residential coop secret. We moved here from the suburbs a year ago and discovered a quiet building on a dead end street( minimal vehicular traffic here reducing noise levels ), with reasonable ( for NYC) monthlies, an OUTSTANDING staff of doormen, porters and resident manager— and convenience to get to almost all other areas of the city. The building has a garage connected to it ( awesome in inclement weather ) , a large windowed gym, and is a block away from the east side... read more
