Why does Sutter “walk-in” care even exist? Impossible to schedule short term appointment for anything that requires more than basic, at home care. To be clear, the receptionist and nurse I spoke with were friendly and polite, but I’m struggling to understand why this office exists, and why I cannot get care for anything but the most basic concerns — things I could easily take care of myself at home — without waiting 3 hours at urgent care or two weeks for an appointment. Pretty straightforward walk-in visit, no wait time. Online check-in process was reasonable. NP was knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. I would use these services again.
