I walked right in on Tuesday at 10:30am and received excellent care including a diagnosis and a prescription.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. I went to Sutter Urgent Care in San Mateo during an IBD flare-up specifically seeking hydration. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. They couldn’t verify my insurance (which was active), causing me to lose my place in line and spend over an hour trying to resolve it. I finally agreed to pay out of pocket just to be seen. The upside: the doctors and nurses are generally good and the facility seem well equipped. The downside: Even though the interior looks new and up to the code but the general atmosphere of a mostly empty building, sometimes long wait times, cold interior temperature, and no windows makes it feel very depressing for some reason.
