My experience in the Urgent Care center was positive. Staff was friendly. Dr. Kang's diagnosis of my problem was professional. She was patient and listened to my concerns and questions.
Going to urgent care is obviously not something to look forward to. There is always a wait, and by definition, you are in some level of discomfort, or you wouldn't be there. My experience in getting treatment had both of those elements. However, they cycled people in first to measure and record vital signs, which seemed to speed things up a bit, and the staff were all attentive, pleasant and professional. The total time was less than 60 minutes, and the treatment was effective in resolving my problem.
Urgent care staff are professional, careful and friendly. I was referred to ER, told to collect a CD from CT, but the CT front desk said: Urgent care can tell you anything, fill the form and wait 2-3 days ! Eventually UC nurse went there to get it for me.
Extremely slow service even when there is not too many people. Not good, when you are really hurting and have to wait for 2-3 hours to see the doctor.
I waited 1.5 hours after the hour they had told me I was going to wait. All because I was assigned to a particular doctor meanwhile other doctors are working more quicky and other patients are coming in going especially the ones that came after me. Once I got into my appt. I was told my doctor wasn't even there yet. Very confusing! BUT the doctor I had was excellent!!!!!! Still not worth the frustration but great doc.
