First thing, I have never written a review before, but I feel like this should be known. I had large rain come through our area the other week. Our guys called sutter roofing to respond to leak, since I have used them in the past. I had several problems.1) It took them 2 days to make it here. When I have a leak, I need someone to fix it soon. It can be dangerous for our customers. No one even called my site guy to tell them when they would be here. The roof at the office of our packaging facility in Sarasota leaked. I have used Sutter once before so I had the number and called them.The next rain it still leaked again in the same spot. I know this because I changed the ceiling tile and it was stained in the exact same spot. They came back out again. I changed the tile, it rained hard and leaked again.This is not acceptable. I had Sutter Roofing make a repair to my commercial building. They were prompt, professional and courteous.They even took photographs of the damage and their repairs so I could see exactly what had been done.I have dealt with many roofing compaanies and Sutter Roofing is by far the best.
I thought I was getting a reputable contractor. I am disappointed. I do not believe that the rates they charge are fair. The roofing business is a competitive market, and the rates are not jusified. To make matters worse (I have a white reflective rubber roof), when they fixed the leak I went up to look at the work. In the area, there was a cigarette burn into the roof. They said it was not them, however no one else has ever been on the job (2 year old roof). I am disappointed and will take my business elseware.
