Doctor who treated me looked at my toe which had been smashed by a piano bench and said she didn't think it was broken. I was like "you sure we don't need an xray?" and she was insistent I did not. Anyway, one week later I went to Kaiser in Vacaville, and I have an open fracture under my toenail.
The social worker and nurse on staff this morning are both incompetent people that don't listen to support the patient's actual needs. Not only do they not know my child to conclude that he isn't responsive enough to be discharged (due to autism), but he does well on medicine that is prescribed to treat anxiety, and hallucinations but he needed a refill only to get him through a two weeks period that he needed until his behavioral health appointment. Went there for an unusual issue and given a test that was incomplete. Was treated for another issue and labs drawn beforehand. The ER doc after all treatment decided to assert and lecture me on my unresolved chronic issue then have a whole write up with twisting my words and copying academic notes and adding on from another facility which is questionable because my case is unusual.
