If you’ve got curly hair this is 100% the spot for you! It’s very difficult to find someone that understands your hair (even better when they understand more than you do) so it was a huge relief to finally find a place that you trust. I love my new cut and loved the environment she harbors, she’s inclusive to everyone no matter who you are. Recommend this place to anyone with curls and anyone looking for a safe space for all kinds of individuals! Definitely coming again 🩷
Unfortunately, she is unwilling to work on or fully discuss options for more challenging hair types. The services listed on the website also seem to be inaccurate. This is just a review on a very short, very rude pre-appointment phone conversation. I have no idea about the quality of her haircuts or what services she actually offers other than cuts. Maybe she was having a bad day when we spoke but 100% 5 star reviews after the initial experience I had seems fishy.
Just know this: Susy is a hair sorceress. I have been going to see Susy for around 3 years now and what she does is pure magic. I have hair down to my butt and I’m blonde, and let me tell you, Susy knows blonde. I’m a natural dark blonde and she’s taken me everywhere from platinum to “90s blonde” to “old money blonde”. I can’t say enough amazing things about Susy! She absolutely nailed my cut and balayage — my hair has never looked this good. She has a true eye for detail and listens to exactly what you want, while still giving expert suggestions that make the end result even better. She’s also done my curly cuts in the past, and every single one has come out perfect.
