Sussman Mazda makes buying a car easy I bought a Mazda 3 here in 2007. Mike was great in helping me to make my decision (it also helped that they had the exact model with the exact extras I wanted on the lot). The process was as painless as buying a new car could be! Their service department leaves a lot to be desired, however. I now go elsewhere for that.
Dishonest and incompetent Took my car here for state inspection, and they wanted to charge me a ridiculous $335 for two brake pads. I replaced them myself for $28. It took under an hour (i.e. they wanted the equivalent of over $300/hour for labor).. Brought the car back, and they magically started finding things they had missed on the first inspection. Great cars, great sales and finance people. I heard advertisements for Sussman Mazda on the "Preston & Steve" show and I figured I'd check them out (since P&S have never steered me wrong). And this was no exception. The salesman, Joe Thompson, was genuinely friendly (not "salesman friendly"), truly pressure free and really took his time to listen to what I was looking for and what could fit my budget. Their Quote isn't REALLY the Lowest! I previously had a good experience previously with my Sussman Honda purchase--but my experience with Sussman Mazda leads me to think this is the type of dealer that all the other dealers warn you about when the price is too good to be true. DON'T TRUST THESE THUGS This is the first time I am writing any kind of review. I expect some level of BS from all Auto dealers but I guess it will be hard to beat sussman mazda. I contacted 5 different dealers and 4 of them gave me a reasonable quote. But I got lured by almost 25% MSRP quote given by sussman. Buyer beware. Sussman businesses not to be trusted. Vehicle was described as "like new" condition and was Acura Certified. I was told that the vehicle had no damage and was in excellent shape. Upon arrival I found that the passenger door, fender and hood had been repainted (very poorly). The passenger door was full of broken glass - some of which fell out when I closed the door.
