I and some colleagues dined at Sushisamba at the Venetian in Las Vegas last night. For “decoration” our sushi came with the head of a lobster, recently separated from its body, yet very much animated, especially when the waiter poured salty soy sauce over it to cause the movement. I was left speechless and bewildered by the purposelessness of subjecting this creature to such a cruel fate. Wagyu beef served in thin sliced. You cook yorself over very hot stones and dip in different sauces. Must try!
