Whats not to love about the Zanmai? I have been a customer here for over 20 years and every time its been perfect.
I visited once from Washington and found it was fantastic! I moved out here to Denver and still love it. The sushi chefs know what they're doing and it's a fun environment. The food is good and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit for the chefs to have a minute to make your dish, but they don't right in front of you. It's a great adventure, but plan to be there about two hours.
Best location, best sushi, best people and the best product possible! Zanmai has my heart and I will always recommend them
This place is not good at all service is awful or they have selective service to certain customers I had the grilled Salomon flavor was old fish not good at all I sat at the bar I'm pretty sure of the health department stop by lot of cross contamination cutting boards and knives I have a video which I choose not to you publish the two star I don't like it rating should be enough
Based on prior 20 years of experience, I would have given SZ at least 4 stars but the last two visits have been disappointing. At 6pm on a fairly quiet Thursday evening, our food took 45 minutes to arrive. My eel/sashimi combo was great but my wife's shrimp tempura was over-cooked which made the batter not as light as it should be and the shrimp was dry.
