Love this place. My husband and i have been coming here for years. We love their rolls and teriyaki bowls. Today in particular, I ordered online and was kindly greeted by two young ladies. There was an error with my order and they were sweet enough to offer to remake it. I recently visited Sushi Yu with a friend and was pleasantly surprised to learn it’s now under new ownership and it definitely shows in the best way. We started with the spicy edamame, which had just the right kick and was super flavorful. For our main meal, we ordered bento boxes that came with miso soup to start. Great quality fish! Wonderful rolls! I Loved it! Highly recommend and will be back. Also extra wonderful since the servers and owner understand gluten allergies which is always stressful and hard to find a place that makes such a great effort to be careful and give that much care. Thank you! I really appreciated it!
Hadn't gone for a long time because prices had gone up and quality had dropped but decided to give it a try tonight. Only did pick up and it was just avocado rolls, but omg, I'm so happy. Wasabi and ginger were separate, and good/fresh (it matters more than restaurants realize), and the rolls were generous in avocado, which is hard to find (and you end up just paying for rice) With the "buy one get one 50% off" it was SO worth it.
