Sushi Town - The Best Around! – This place is the best - at least for the price you can't beat it. Sushi is fresh, taste as good as that 'other' local Sushi chain & the service is great. Its a great little experience too, with the kitschy music in the background & the strip mall location, hell you might as well do your shopping too & if your really in love you'll find this place romantic too. The green tea is free & the deserts are unexpectedly divine!
not the freshest – There are far better conveyor style sushi places in town; it's too bad this one has the corner on the market in this area. The portions are small and the fish definitely isn't as fresh or well prepared as other similarly priced options.
our favorite sushi place – highly recommend this place!!!! very reasonable price. and the staff is wonderful!
Its decent – The sushi is alright. I've actually eaten cheaper for about the same quality of sushi if not better. I am japanese and read some reviews on here. To the member that said sushi is actually raw fish... No it is NOT! Sushi means rice wrapped around with seaweed with toppings! Please be more informed when making such a comment.
Descent – Would recommend for a lunch in a run. Food is o.k, staff are friendly and atmosphere is nice.
Great for sushi on the run – Sushi Town is not a high-end sushi place. It's quick, usually high quality, has typically limited options (but they will make things you ask for) and clean. They are pleasant and seat you as quickly as possible. Sometimes the rice has been a little mushy or the nori too dry, but not very often.
Good sushi at a good price – I love that I can fill up at lunch for less than $10! Don't see what you want? Ask for it and they'll make it on the spot.
The Best Revolving Sushi Bar in Portland – I have tried every single revolving sushi bar in Portland, and this is the best! At $1.10 to $2.25 a plate, it is a great deal! The sushi is fresh. The place is clean. The people are nice.. and wow, you have to try the baked mussels, unbelievable! You will not be disappointed with this place. Yes, $8 sushi is probably better (only in some ways), but why not get great sushi for a lot less money, and a lot less time!
The best "cheap sushi" – The carousel lets you grab what you want, when you want it. It's great for FAST, fun, and very fresh sushi. By the way, it's very inexpensive.
