Feels like Japan Sushi Time, really feels like Japan. First you walk down the steps to the lower floor and walk into a very narrow attrium like room with a sushi bar and sitting for only 16-20 people. You are greeted by the traditional Japanese greating, " Irasshaimase" which means welcome! The menu has a wonderful assortment of sushi rolls, sashimi with special's of the day. Everything is fresh and wonderfully presented. The staff is friendly and efficient. The only thing missing from the menu is Tempura. The kitchen does n... read more
Fresh fish, reasonable prices and quick service keep this Castro sushi spot packed despite the unglamorous location. – Like so many great restaurants in Tokyo, this bento-box sized sushi joint is tucked into a charmless mini-mall, but stays packed with fans of its fresh fish and reasonable prices everyday of the week. Delicious sushi at a great price! – Fish is always fresh, chefs make with care and service is super friendly. I've taken dozens of people to Sushi Time and now they're regualrs too!
Small, charming, GREAT! – Absolutely the freshest sushi every time (and I go there a lot). The proprietors are charming, helpful and always very pleasant. The rolls are creative as is the decor. I've never had a dish I wasn't happy with, and I've had most everything on the menu. Can't rave enough about this place!
