Great food. Excellent service from Danny!
Sauces were terrible, most of the food was clearly prepared elsewhere, frozen, and reheated, and sashimi portions were unreasonably small for the price. The service was fine, though the atmosphere was hampered by off-brand autotune versions of popular songs.
On Friday April 10th 2026 as a last minute decision I went to eat at Sushi Saki. As soon as I walked I was greeted by a Female Wait Staff and then led inside by Wait Staff Danny. Danny is Friendly, Courteous, Professional, Knowledgeable about the Menu and made GREAT suggestions and Patient while I was ordering. This sushi restaurant in South Tampa was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The space is beautifully decorated, creating a great atmosphere whether you’re out for a casual meal or a nice night out. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. The menu is large and diverse, offering plenty of options for everyone. We received a warm welcome at Sushi Sake after leaving a different restaurant due to poor service. From the moment we walked in the experience was exceptional! Our server Danny suggested seating under the orchids, appetizers, entres and drinks that were totally on point! He is definitely an asset to the restaurant and he made the experience at Sushi Sake complete. We definitely be back again.
