With out a doubt the BEST 5 Star Sushi Restaurant in Eastern Iowa!
Delicious – Love this restaurant. I've had nothing but outstanding service here. Everyone is always super friendly and the food is delicious. Everything here is great, the appetizers, the sushi, and both the Chinese and Japanese entrees. You will not be disappointed.
Sorry to rain on anyone's parade – Ordered cashew chicken and it was served with a black insect. Very disappointed as my family has frequented Sushi Popo ever since they opened. It's the freshest japanese and chinese in town but I won't gamble on future meals there.
Yummy sushi This restaurant has sushi, and other Japanese foods to choose from. They have a lunch menu with box lunches great for the first timer to try sushi for a good price. They have private curtained rooms that are nice and kid friendly. They also serve spirits. The employees are very friendly and help you decide what to get. They even have a sushi bar to watch them make your sushi.
Excellent Restaurant – I am certainly not a sushi connoisseur, but I knows what I likes and this place is it. The sushi is excellent and there are plenty other menu choices for those who crinkle their nose at raw seafood. Once, I was a crinkler, but it was Sushi Popo that changed me. The atmosphere is very nice also with two or three private rooms off the main dining area, a party area, and of course, a sushi bar at the back. It is not too formal and I would feel comfortable in jeans.
Sushi Popo has a 3.2 star rating with 86 reviews.
