3 stars for 3 reasons 1. The Philadelphia roll was so good! Good size! Right portion of rice and salmon/cream cheese. The fire cracker was also good! Visited with some friends; enjoyed the eel sushi I ordered. Great value and solid quality at the price point, would def come back for a casual sushi experience with friends.
On a downward spiral, I would start with the sashimi being great! It was fresh. There was plenty. I just wasn't a fan that there was octopus, and imitation crab. My shio was tasty, but it was absolutely not shio ramen. The noodles felt cheap, and didn't taste fresh. I loved having Kyoto beer, but the lack of alcohol was disappointing. I was passing through the area and decided to drop in based on the outstanding reviews. Overall, it absolutely lived up to the hype, though there are a few things to keep in mind regarding hours, service, and specific menu items.
