Went here last night for my anniversary with my girlfriend. This was some of the best sushi I have EVER had! It was a fantastic meal and overall experience. The entire staff from the host to the server to the chefs were all great. I would highly recommend this place. However, it is a little expensive, so probably only a special occasion place.

The Omakase last night was stellar! Eating at the Sushi Bar is a must. No reservations and a few scheduled seatings each night - either be there at five, or be ready to wait. That being said, it is absolutely worth the wait. From the first bite, we were in awe of the well balanced flavors. Incredible. We had the honor of being served by Shiro himself, and tasting the most delectable and freshest sushi while having wonderful service. What an experience.

I thought the old Shiro (went after Shiro's retirement) was the best sushi I have ever had, but it changed after visiting Sushi Kashiba, I was fortunate enough to sit where Shiro-san prepares omakese at the bar. P.S. Pricing is slightly cheaper than old Shiro's at Beltown.

If you want to taste the best sushi in your life, this is the place. The menu is a reflection of one man's unique viewpoint, and Shiro sometimes takes his time, but the results are stunning,

Rejoice! Seattle sushi fans, Shiro-san is back from his mercifully short 'retirement.' It's a new location and the sushi is, somehow, even better than his usual genius preparations. If you are lucky enough to score a seat at the bar, order omakase. Let the chefs determine the best items to serve.
