Updated review — lowered my rating: Although this is a good restaurant, our last experience was terrible. They don’t take reservations, so we went there and our party of six was told there was no seating available, even though we could see open tables. The manager said they were holding them for another party of six and asked us to wait outside. So if their policy is no reservations, why the table was “on hold”!! Amazing experience! The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic flavors. What I especially appreciate is the focus on traditional Japanese cuisine, not just the typical sushi options you find everywhere.
