Spectacular Sushi The location is a little awkward due to parking however the resturant makes up for this. The service is propt and the employees are helpful. THe food is great and so is the enviorment. The place is great and seems very authentic. PROS: Nice place, great food CONS: little parking
Great Taste, Good Price My favorite option at a Japanese restaurant is a 3-choice Bento box. They're not common but The Sushi House has them. Flavors are good. California roll made with real crab. The more festive rolls, such as Dragon Roll, are fun and tasty. Many times you get edamame for free and often an option of icecream if the place isn't too busy. Service is less spritely if thy're crowded and rushed Avoid Saturday night unless you like crowds. If you can't find street parking (we've never had a problem) look for one... read more
yummy great bento boxes here and great calaramari. good california rolls and great service. very clean, nice place, unagi here is good also and so is the salad.
This family owned Japanese restaurant is to die for. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is exceptional. From the soup to the raw fish. Everything is always fresh and great. The service is extremely fast and the restaurant is always packed. I bring all my friends here and it is a regular treat for me and my boyfriend...I recommend visiting the Sushi house...You wont regret it!
good CA rolls I am not fond of that sashimi raw fish stuff, so I almost always order California rolls )which is imitation crab meat and avacado wrapped in rice and seaweed) and cucumber rolls or those sweetend tofu rolls. The side dishes here are worth a try also. I recommend agadashi tofu and the miso soup. The prices are reasonable and I find the food good enough to go here every once in a while.
BEST sushi house around! Price is VERY good. The food is even better. They are the only place that has UNAGO (Unagi and mango) and it's the best. The service is good also. They can accomate any size party in minutes. The parking is a little weird if you're not familiar with the area but there is street parking all along San Mateo and there is always the back lot behind the restaurant. You can also enter the restaurant through the back door as well.
Sushi House... Great Food... A Genuine Bargain! We Love the Sushi House. Best neighborhood Japanese restaurant around. The Bento Box is awesome with 3 entree selections and quite inexpensive. The portions are quite generous.The Mi-so soup is to die for!
Sushi House is AWESOME!!! Always good food and good service! Cannot beat their lunch special bento box!! The Sun Roll has to be my favorite . The fish is always fresh. Love this neighboorhood place.
Sushi House This place has the most tasteful sushi around town. I have been to many different sushi restaurants and this by far is the freshest and best tasting. There prices are very reasonable and you get a good portion of food for what you pay for. This sushi house has great customer service and they are willing to make you feel at home.
