I’m from NYC and Made a spontaneous visit with my best friend on my last day in Austin cause I was craving Sushi. This spot is an absolute gem! The service, the atmosphere, the food and the best part was walking into Minako Yoshida’s Lite N’ Up! They had entire Japanese City Pop playlist playing while we ate. One of the best experiences i’ve in on my visit to Austin
I never write "bad" reviews but after this place, I feel people should know that this place is a complete SCAM. I tried to make it easier for our server by also paying it all on one card instead of splitting it... Me and my friend group came here to end my friend’s birthday night (June 18th, 2026) and honestly, it ruined the vibe. We had a group of 11 people but only 10 of us ordered food and we arrived around 10:20 PM on Thursday, June 18th. Sushi hi is always amazing! Went for the reverse happy hour tonight and it was wonderful! Service usually only had one front of house person but they do a great job every time. Still very attentive even when it’s busy. Posting a new menu on here for everyone lol
