When a Restaurant is Quiet on a Friday Night.... – That's your first clue. I've been passing by this restaurant for 5 months and decided to give it a try since I miss my favorite Sushi Bar when I moved here from Redondo Beach, CA. Best Sushi !! – I would have to say that sushi hana is my favorite place for sushi in san francisco.. I have been eating sushi for over 20 years, and this is the freshest sushi at the price I have found around town. The staff and owners are very friendly and courteous. And the all you can eat is just as fresh and well made, on sats, and suns.. I really recommend this establishment. Unacceptable service ruined the whole sushi experience. Plain and simple, the staff could not handle the dinner rush. Preferential treatment was given to a large table of people (of about 8-10). Every other table was flat out ignored. It took about 30 minutes for me to get the roll I ordered and then about another 45 minutes for my girlfriend to get her salmon teriyaki. Great Sushi for the lay back evening (and a movie) – I LOVE THIS PLACE... great place to have a lay back evening and a person who just wants good sushi!!! The owner "Scott" is a super nice guy and truly appreciates his patrons. Like the other reviewer my fiance and I frequent this place everyother week if not weekly!!! Good sushi.. service lacking – This is second time we ate at sushi hana and sushi was delicious. Their rolls are innovative and unique. The service though is very very slow. Maybe it was some kind of chinese turture - we were hungry and they bring 1 roll every 20 minutes..literally.. we would be sitting and eating bare wasabi and ginger cause there was nothing else..OTher than waiting for long time - their rolls are great.
Excellent place for sushi.. – My wife and I've been going to this restaurant almost every other week and we've been very pleased with the food and services each time we visited. The place is very clean and it has 2nd floor that is large enough to accommodate private party. The most importantly, the food is great.
