First and only appointment he accused me of “insisting on a bilateral mastectomy” nine years ago and said that there was so little cancer that it shouldn’t have been staged at all. He refuted what my surgeon and oncologist at the time had told me. He said that I couldn’t really consider myself a cancer survivor because there was so little cancer in my breasts. Nine years ago biopsies and an MRI showed that there was ductile cancer in my left breast and lobular cancer in my right breast. Those doctors explained my options. I ... read more
