Susan's is the quintessential Maine fried fish restaurant in Portland ME. Funky as all get-out, with hot and crispy clams and oysters, house tartare sauce, and the best clam chowder in southern Maine. Very friendly service, extremely casual and kid friendly, booths or tables, dine in it takeout.
Wow what a great place I drank from the chum bucket don't ever do that food was amazing chum bucket bad
shrimp/corn chowder to die for...... OH!! and the fried pickles are yuummmoo
This place is great! Avoid the tourist traps and come here! Better food, better prices, and more bang for your buck. Daily specials are always good. I ate here twice while I was in Portland. Will be back next time I'm in town.
It was good - service was also good. Need some AC for hot summer days though.
Never disappointing , some of the best seafood I have ever had !! Just Love Tuesday's "two for two " !!

This place is a hidden gem! Loved the food. It was great, but to bad I live so far away in Fl. Will be back again next summer!
