recently had an appointment with Dr. Phung regarding my high cholesterol. The doctor prescribed statins, but I experienced difficulties with focus, which I suspected might be related to the medication. Saw Dr. Phung on Oct 12th 2023 because of a recent incident of chest tightness and checking in ER. Office visit exp. was positive. She ordered CAC test for me. The test result, which wasn't normal, came back to their system on Oct 30th. No follow-up call from her office after one whole week. I called and messaged her office several times requesting a follow-up call on the result. No response nothing. I chose to see Dr. Phung because one of her specialties is lipidology, an area that has been problematic for me. She made several changes to make me healthier, including sending me for a coronary calcium score (I had never heard of this because none of my previous cardiologists had mentioned it) and adjusting my dose of Omega-3 fish oil. She also showed me the video from one of my heart tests (I hadn't been given the opportunity to see it before). I love that she makes sure that all questions are answered.
SIMPLY AMAZING!! had my first visit! she was so kind and caring. answered all my questions!!her medical assistant was so very kind and the front desk/medical office assistant/front desk was just as kind and caring as well. Dr Phung asked i see her again Monday by the time i got out the room and to the front my prior auth for echo was approved. the staff moves as a well oiled machine. overall quick efficient and ON POINT!
