I went into Beaumont for the first time for what I thought was toenail fungus. Three doctors and two residents later, I was told that my nail bed is damaged and they can't do anything other than remove the nail permanently. Before accepting this, I wanted to have tests on the nail done, and the test came back positive for fungus. I've asked to be put on medication through MyChart and the doctor will not respond.
