Dr. Henley has been my family doctor for 15 years now. She is one of the few doctors I've ever met that really listens to her patients. She's great.
I have been a patient of Dr.Henley for about 10 years now. She's great! I would classify her as a little "old school," but I also think that's what makes her an exceptional doctor. She actually takes the time with you and fully investigates the whole picture. She is also pretty blunt/direct, which may not be for everyone (e.g. "So, you're overweight, what are you doing to do about this?"). Dr. Henley has been my doctor for years. She is very pleasant and cares about my well being. Yes she is concerned with the total person medically and personally. I at first found that disconcerting, but she remembers important details when needed. Cindy, the receptionist is efficient and pleasant as well as the new edition, Lisa. I have been her patient since her daughter was just in grade school. My daughter has been her patient since the age of 14. I have not found a reason to seek new medical assistance.
She refers to WebMD a lot. Prescriptions electronically transferred to pharmacies never arrive. Kept incomplete medical records from prior doctor. We're moving and asked that our medical records be transferred to the new doctor. 2 weeks later nothing was received and I was told it would take some time because she has to review the records first. I asked if it might be another week and was told even longer and to keep ringing so she could be reminded and they have to work out how much to charge
I have never heard of this doctor, and received a bill from her in the mail. When I called to clear it up, they sent me to a collections agency!
Dr.Henley is a very good Dr.However her front desk staff is rude and not so friendly!!
RUN----She likes to lecture people that have no insurance and will actually ridicule your lifestyle
I'd struggled for the last 5 years to find a Dr who actually cares about me as a human being and not just as a patient standing in their way to the end of the day. I finally found that with Dr Henley. She explored more than just symptoms with me...she digs into my lifestyle choices and tries to get to the heart of my problems. Always respectful, always explains things clearly, and doesn't give up until she finds a way to help. Very small, quiet, personable office. Wish I found her years ago.
