Dr. Abbott checked in with me on a daily basis when my daughter was hospitalized in April for Pancreatitis and DKA unrelated to her mental health. She was in ICU for 2 weeks. Dr. Abbott didn't have to do that but she did. My daughter is a patient of hers and she was very concerned about her overall health. She even called the hospital and spoke to the attending physician to get me updates on my daughter's progress. I have been a patient of Dr. Abbott for many years. I have called her in between appointments and she always returns my call promptly. She is a great doctor and has helped me become a better and much happier person. She is conservative in prescribing medication and finds out what is bothering me, always offering great suggestions. I look forward to my visits with her and never have to wait in her office. She is the most caring and empathetic doctor I have ever been to.
I have been seeing Dr Abbott for over 20 years. I would never go anywhere else. She has gotten me through some very rough times. I have already recommended her several times.
I would rate Dr Abbott 10 stars if I could. She is outstanding! Dr Abbott is knowledgeable and caring.
Dr. Abbott is one of the best psychiatrists in New York. Her diagnosis was right on target. She is easy to talk to, and went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. Dr. Abbott has always been ready for me at my appointment time. I never have to wait.
