I cannot recommend Forrester Lactation (Lauren) highly enough. Breastfeeding has been one of the most challenging parts of my postpartum experience as a first time mom, especially with a nipple injury and ongoing difficulty getting my baby to latch on one side. Lauren and the team are simply amazing. I would have quit breastfeeding if I hadn’t started going to her. I am a first time Mom and I thought I was going to die after the first week of breastfeeding. Everything hurt and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. After one visit, there was significant improvement. Between seeing Lauren and Liz (the baby chiropractor), I learned that my baby had a tongue, cheek, and lip tie. I am so grateful for my experience with Lauren. I first met with Lauren prenatally, a few weeks before my due date. I am a second time mom, but had a tough time getting off the ground with breastfeeding with my first, and though there were several factors at play, I largely attribute our struggle to lack of education and support going into the experience.
