I cannot recommend Forrester Lactation (Lauren) highly enough. Working with Susan completely changed my breastfeeding experience. She is knowledgeable, experienced, professional and compassionate. Susan is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals whatever that may be and her support was invaluable to me. Lauren and the team are simply amazing. I would have quit breastfeeding if I hadn’t started going to her. I am a first time Mom and I thought I was going to die after the first week of breastfeeding. Everything hurt and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. After one visit, there was significant improvement. I am so grateful for my experience with Lauren. I first met with Lauren prenatally, a few weeks before my due date. I am a second time mom, but had a tough time getting off the ground with breastfeeding with my first, and though there were several factors at play, I largely attribute our struggle to lack of education and support going into the experience. I can't recommend Susan enough! I'm a first time mom who was having a lot of anxiety about breastfeeding and tired of turning to the internet. After just one session with Susan, I felt so much better! We got straight-forward answers and advice that allowed me to feel empowered in the choices we were making. I felt like I was being heard, and that my baby and I were truly being cared for. I'm so much more confident, and I really believe if we had not found Susan I would have quit breastfeeding.
