Susan has been so helpful in our breastfeeding journey! She helped us navigate post-frenotomy, latching issues, bottle frustration, and pumping/oversupply. I always felt comfortable and left each appointment feeling hopeful and reassured that we were making progress to my breastfeeding goals! She gave us many recommendations for “homework” and referrals and was knowledgeable on many baby/breastfeeding topics I brought up. Highly recommend to this practice to any mother!
I wish I could give this more stars. Lauren Akers taught us so much and completely changed our journey from stressful and painful to joyful and long-lasting. The care you get from your IBCLC really impacts what you think is possible, which affects your self esteem. My first time breastfeeding my support was completely inferior compared to Lauren Akers. Plus she is fun to be with and has great jokes.
Susan was incredibly helpful for our breastfeeding journey. Not only did she listen to my birth story and offered kind words at our first appointment, but she also helped us get through the difficulties we faced breastfeeding. She was there every step of the way; offering educated advice/tips, showing empathy, and giving us referrals to great doctors or specialists as we needed them. I love this group! Lauren visited my home a few weeks after my baby was born and was amazing. She was patient, educational and oh so helpful. I wound up dealing with an over supply and a lot of clogging, which landed me back with Forrester Lactation - this time with Susan. I saw Susan several times and messaged with her many more times than that. She was always responsive and got me in with little to no notice. She was patient, kind and always a great resource.
