I am so grateful for my experience with Lauren. I first met with Lauren prenatally, a few weeks before my due date. I am a second time mom, but had a tough time getting off the ground with breastfeeding with my first, and though there were several factors at play, I largely attribute our struggle to lack of education and support going into the experience. I can't recommend Susan enough! I'm a first time mom who was having a lot of anxiety about breastfeeding and tired of turning to the internet. After just one session with Susan, I felt so much better! We got straight-forward answers and advice that allowed me to feel empowered in the choices we were making. I felt like I was being heard, and that my baby and I were truly being cared for. I'm so much more confident, and I really believe if we had not found Susan I would have quit breastfeeding.
I was desperate for relief from latch pain, and Lauren made such a difference from our very first meeting. She helped us identify the underlying cause of our daughter’s latch issues, which turned out to be a lip and tongue tie. Lauren guided us in finding the best doctors to address it and supported us every step of the way. She continued to meet with us to ensure feeding was going well and even helped us with post tie release stretches. We are so incredibly grateful for her knowledge, care, and support.
Lauren was my real life postpartum hero. I came to her with bloody nipples and completely distraught with a five day old baby that couldn’t feed properly. She got me in last minute and in the first visit she made me LAUGH and cry for feeling completely seen and I left her office with hope. She led me through 7 weeks of this including cranial sacral therapy for baby, tongue tie revisions and the 5 weeks post revision that it took to get baby fully breastfeeding.
