I went there with my son for care unfortunately left without care my son was diagnosed with flu a i totally understand what viral infection is but i asked for medication to reduce his symptoms like fever , nauseous, stomachache and etc. She refused to give him any single pill Not recommenced her at all
Provides poor quality service. She doesn’t take patients seriously. She doesn’t understand minority patients she brushes you off. Saw her for 2 different reasons one was not intentional. She didn’t inform me my child’s PCP has changed and his new Doctor was in the office. Only needed a medical form filled out based on his latest well visit. She put it in the system as a well visit as if she examined him and did not. Dr. Castrano is my favorite doctor. She has a really calming aura and I love the way she kind of sat and reviewed my file for a few moments before greeting me and starting my appointment. It made me feel like she was actually sure of who I was and why I was there. She is enthusiastic and thorough. I couldn’t have asked for a better appointment and I’ll be calling my insurance in the morning to update her as my new primary care provider. The nursing staff in her office is also fantastic and I think they all love what they do.
She has no idea what she is talking about, implied that my Endo didn’t know what he was doing. She acts like she is a specialist and she’s a nurse practitioner, not a doctor. She was completely arrogant and unprofessional in every way possible. She was talking down to me the entire time. The last place that anyone needs to deal with an attitude is at the doctors office.
I have had the pleasure of having susan Colford Castano as my primary care for many years. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring. She gives you the attention you deserve and talks to you straight without sugar coating the situation. I would highly recommend her to anyone whose looking for an honest, caring and empathetic provider
