Dr. Anvin has helped me a lot with my depression and anxiety. You need to be very clear with her, as to what your goals are in sessions with her. But as long as she knows WHAT you want to accomplish, she will surely help you get there. My favorite thing about Dr. Anvin is that you can tell she is human. Some therapists feel the need to appear indestructible, but Anvin has told me about her struggles, in a way that shows me it IS possible to overcome my struggles. Very productive and helpful.
