I accompanied my mother there for a sleep study earlier this month. The place was a dump. It was not conducive to sleeping in any way. A bed in the middle of the room, flat pillows, white dingy walls, and an overhead light. I had a very uncomfortable lawn-type chaise lounge to sleep on. I felt every bar in the chaise lounge. I brought this to the doctor's attention and her response was she hasn't had any complaints. I had a bad experience at this sleep clinic TWICE! Because Dr Sury wanted me to sleep on my own general schedule I had to be in Long Island City at 5:00.AM The first time she drove into Manhattan and picked me up. I was being tested for sleep apnea, I also suffer from insomnia. I took extra sleep medication after being “wired-up”. I was the only patient in the clinic at that hour.
