Depressingly I have NOT been permitted farther than the a few steps into the store before I am openly & without a doubt discriminated against... The excuse I am expected to accept is some completely fabricated incident of attempted theft or actual theft of an unnamed item.... I loved this business in the past and to be denied entry is hurtful
Ladies at the register are incredibly friendly and helpful, stuff sold is cheap but still reliable with a 30 day return window. incredibly good stop if you're a trades person or stud and with a limited budget.
Feb 2026 I want to elaborate on another woman's review where she felt going into this SURPLUS HERBY'S store reminded her of living in a POLICE STATE because this is how this store made me feel. I have only been inside SURPLUS HERBY'S twice - and both times in this past week. The 1st time I walked thru their doors I was 'immediately' followed in by a RCMP officer right behind me.
