I'm sad to have to leave this review, I've been a long time customer and this place was my go to for hydraulic components both commercially and for my personal needs but after this experience I'll be telling absolutely anybody about how poorly this company is ran. The lack of customer service here is shocking. My item got "damaged in shipping" nobody told me anything about it I found that out when I called a week and a half after I ordered. Horrible customer service. I made a purchase and 3 days later they tell me the item is too large to ship via truck so it must be sent freight. So then they hit me with an up charge and the shipping ends up being as much as the item! Talk about bait-and-switch! I asked the customer service rep if the size/weight of the item changed since I placed my order (obviously it didn't) and of course she had no reply. Excellent customer service! I after 3 weeks of a purchase of an ice auger, I saw that burdensales/Surplus Center has dropped $100 on the same product. I called customer service and spoke with Danyelle. She was so kind and caring that mentioned my situation to her manager; eventually, they refunded the price difference, although, its original price was not bad at all already. They responded very promptly and I received my price difference refund. burdensales/Surplus Center really cares about their customers' satisfaction.
