I have only RAVES for BROC/SURGICAL CENTRAL!! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has went above and beyond to make my visit here as pleasant as it could be. I have had a total knee replacement. Big shout out to everyone I’ve seen here!!!
Today I experienced unprofessional behavior of a nurse during my toddlers post-operative care. The nurse became visibly frustrated, raised her voice, and aggressively handled my child, tossing him onto the bed while removing a bandage. When requesting a new nurse, the nurse responded dismissively and blamed the child’s behavior. While managing a recovering toddler can be difficult, aggression and disrespect are unacceptable in a medical setting. Surgery is fine. Billing department is atrocious. Can't ask questions with out getting attitude(sorry this is my first time doing all this and i want to make sure im not being screwed?) but when you give the same attitude back you're the problem. Funny how that works. Only came for surgery because of the doctor sadly we have to come and follow up but afterwards I don't plan to return her. I had a total hip replacement done by Dr Rodriguez on October 8, 2024. I am a retired RN and cannot speak highly enough about the nursing care provided to me throughout my stay. All the nurses and assistants were patient, kind, caring and informative. Call lights were answered immediately. A special thanks to Jennifer from New Orleans in pre-op and Jenn and Katie on the inpatient unit.
Dr. Craig Greene performed a total knee replacement for me at the SSC. I have to say I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the staff, in particular Stephanie and Ashley, but by their very warm bedside manner. I appreciate the entire staff at SSC, they are pretty amazing. The staff there truly cares about each patient they help.
