I do not recommend going to this surgery center. They do not give patients the right to make decisions about their own healthcare, including the right to proceed with a procedure after refusing a pregnancy test. Most NJ surgical centers promote patient autonomy by offering liability waivers but not this center. As someone with a history of infertility and a neuromuscular disease that causes bladder dysfunction, this was a particularly upsetting experience. Had a colonoscopy here. The staff were very friendly and caring. Especially, would like to call out the receptionist Nakita and Pre Op Nurse Amanda for their support and care. Highly recommend.
My and my husband's experience were not satisfactory! I got a phone call on the day of my procedures indicating there was an hour delay. Upon arrival, I observed chaos in the waiting area - heated exchanges between a patient and his doctor, as well as staff members arguing amongst themselves. My procedures went fine (I think), but I was appalled to have overheard my anesthesiologist calling one of her patients "an a-hole"! I had my first surgery by Dr Robert Glasgold at the Surgical Specialists at Princeton and I cannot say enough great things about my experience! The staff was very friendly and thorough while easing my anxiety. I didn’t have to wait and the process was seamless. My anesthesiologist was amazing and I felt great after waking up from my surgery. I am less than a week out from my surgery and have ZERO complaints. HIGHLY recommend!!
Worst experience ever! If nurse Gail Miller is your attendant nurse, reschedule your surgery. She is unprofessional, angry, and rude. She was a nightmare threatening to cancel my mom’s eye surgery until Dr. Patel walked in and saved the day. Three hours of interrogation, investigating my mom’s medical records. It felt like we have been held by the FBI and under severe investigation for a crime we sure committed. She doesn’t believe what we say and had us call Drs to fax medical records.
