Went to the er service was great test were taken fast results in fast. Then it changed Waited in the er for 24 hrs to be admitted to a room they said all the beds were taken I have never ever felt so neglected at a hospital they didn’t offer a blanket or a pillow Strickly work very non pleasant nurses oh and the registry lady was rude I wish I knew her name. This was my first time here and it was a horrible experience so far.

The staff in this hospital needs better training when it comes to taking care of their patients. For a nurse to call the cops to make a police report against a 15 girl who is a type1 diabetic and who’s sugars dropped so low she was lethargic when she did become awake and not of aware of where she was at, and she kicked the nurse and the nurse actually called the cops like she intentionally was trying to assault you. I’ve had an excellent experience with Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. The two times I personally needed to use this location were for poison ivy, and both times I was impressed by how quickly I was taken back. I honestly don’t remember ever waiting more than about 10 minutes before being brought into the ER for observation. What really stands out to me, though, is that I’ve also seen the same level of care extended to other people I’ve brought there for much more serious situations, including cases involving surgery. ⭐ 1 Star — Absolutely Disappointing One of the worst ER experiences I have ever had. My mother was brought in after a serious fall and diagnosed with an elbow fracture and a hip/pelvic fracture. She was in unbearable pain and completely unable to walk or move on her own, yet she was discharged home the same night without, in my opinion, the orthopedic evaluation and support she desperately needed. We even asked for an ambulance because she could not physically get into a regular car. We were told insurance would not cover it... read more

The nurse I had needs to change professions. She was absolutely nasty to me & my little sweet mother. Man handled me like I was her enemy for the 12 hours she was there. Other than her, the staff was amazing! Simon, Ally Mia, Kala….thank you for great care!
