My husband had his first visit with Dr Vela today. He wa so nice checked out my husband and explained in detail what needs to be done. His staff was exceptionally nice. I’m so glad my husband was referred to Dr .Vela.
Dr. Vela is a man of many words and will tell you directly how it is. No nonsense, straight to the point and is extremely professional. Would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a general surgeon in Corpus Christi or the surrounding areas!!

Dr Vela is an excellent surgeon and his nurse Abby is beyond words wish she could work with every doctor I see but I know that's impossible. Dr Vela and Abby are a great team in my book..
